Job Description
Designing/Coordinating the design of photovoltaic (PV) systems
Key Responsibilities
• Using computer-aided design (CAD) software to create electrical single-line diagrams, connection diagrams and panel layouts for solar electrical systems
• Creating survey and quality checklists to use when reviewing solar installation projects that have been completed
• Developing standard operational procedures to maintain safety standards for installing and maintaining solar installations
• Provide technical direction or support to installation teams during installation, start-up, testing, system commissioning, or performance monitoring
• Support questions from technical customer and any clarification needed by the customer.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor degree or its equivalent in Electrical and Electronic engineering.
• T3 certification by EPRA will be an added advantage.
• 1- 3 years minimum experience in the solar PV industry designing solar arrays
• Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and solar modeling tools
• Experience reading and understanding technical specifications and construction documents
• Experience with professional oral and written communication skills
• Good work attitude and self-motivated
