Job Description
The Human Resource Officer is expected to support the management of every aspect of the employment process, including orientation and training new staff members and assist with payroll management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Communicate HR policies and procedures to employees
2. Participate in and supports all internal/external recruitment within the business as necessary
3. Ensure that payroll is completed timorously
4. Maintain accurate HR records
5. Oversee the on boarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
6. Manage the off boarding process, including exit interviews and knowledge transfer.
7. Manage all HR related day to day operations, including job descriptions, preparation of contracts for staff members and associated responsibilities.
8. Champions effective employee relations, by undertaking all necessary consultations and negotiations with staff on personnel issues to ensure that harmonious relationships and effective communication is maintained between management and staff
9. Responsible for staff well-being and maintaining a safe working environment.
10. To participate in efforts geared towards improving the effectiveness and efficiency of operations in accordance with the policies and procedures as laid down in the organization’s Quality Manual.
Minimum Qualifications
