Job Description
The candidate will be responsible for the managed services operations of the Data Centre, in accordance with industry best practice and company policies & standards.
Key Responsibilities
i. Responsible for operations budgeting and cost control;
ii. Overall business process owner for Data Centre maintenance.
iii. Overall project quality responsible (SLA, KPI, EHS, OSHA etc.);
iv. Overall operational process design, execution & control;
v. Operations team performance management;
vi. Alignment with Information Technology Infrastructure Library ( ITIL )maintenance procedures;
vii. Take part in global network operation management methodology
viii. Customer communication & reports;
ix. Internal coordination & supplier management;
x. Overall escalation point of outstanding/urgent trouble ticket/ preventative maintenance/fiber maintenance issues & In charge of NOC.
xi. Monitor and check that the quality of incident, problem and change management and service reporting delivered out of the Service monitoring center and Service Lines is to agreed standards and expectations.
xii. 3rd party vendor management and service delivery
xiii. Active involvement in network, physical and cyber security matters
xiv. Ensuring comprehensive Root Cause analysis are completed for all incidents/outages
Minimum Qualifications
i. Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology and/or Telecommunications Engineering
ii. ITIL/ eTOM/ COBIT Certification preferred
iii. At least 3 - 6 years IT/ telecom Operations related experience;
iv. Familiarity of IT/Telecom operator/equipment supplier business model and DC operation procedures and Data center operation experience preferred
