DATA CENTRE FACILITY ENGINEER
Job Description
The overall responsibility is Planning, deployment and commissioning of energy and data center facilities.
Key Responsibilities
i. Responsible for deployment of data center facilities, DCIMs, energy solutions such as UPS, Power Distribution Frames (PDFs,) and Diesel Generators (DGs).
ii. Manage subcontractor and ensure that all implementation work performed is in accordance with established practices.
iii. Communicate with customers on key topics e.g. Project progress, technical solutions and contractual obligations.
iv. DC facility troubleshooting and operations.
v. First line fault escalation for data center facility issues.
vi. Review customer requirements and develop solutions to address them
vii. Support pre-sales team and account managers on product solutions and customer business development.
viii. Ensure health and safety for Data center facility
Minimum Qualifications
i. Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
ii. Knowledge and Experience in Huawei Energy & Data Centre facility products is an added advantage.
iii. Previous experience in Huawei projects is highly desirable.
iv. HCIE/HCNP/HCNA/CCIE/CCNP/CCNA certification is an added advantage.
v. 2 to 5 years of technical support background within the ICT industry or telecommunication
