Job Description
A Direct Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business by directly selling the bank’s products and services to individual customers, small businesses, and other potential clients. The role involves identifying sales opportunities, presenting the bank’s Products and closing sales to meet set targets.
Key Responsibilities
i. Conduct sales presentations to potential clients to explain the features and benefits of the bank's products.
ii. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
iii. Implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets.
iv. Achieve and exceed sales targets set by the bank.
v. Report sales activities and performance metrics to the sales manager.
vi. Provide feedback to the bank’s management about customer needs and product improvements.
vii. Prepare and submit all required documentation accurately and on time.
viii. Identify new business opportunities and understand customer preferences.
ix. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
x. Ensure all sales activities comply with bank policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
xi. Provide after-sales support to ensure customer retention and loyalty.
Minimum Qualifications
i. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
ii. Have a minimum Mean Grade of C+ in K.C.S.E with a C+ in Mathematics and English.
iii. Proven sales experience in the banking or financial services industry.
iv. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
v. Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
vi. Goal-oriented with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
vii. Have excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
viii. Have a passion and commitment to quality service.
ix. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
